Rainbow Legacy

I decided to take on the Rainbow Legacy since it looks like so much fun. I also decided to start with a color halfway through the order of things, because I want to get turquoise out of the way.

My goal for the rainbow challenge was to create a founder that didn't bore me to tears before I even got the kids grown up properly. It's been the death of many a household for flaky little me. So, I present to you~

Teala Beam, romance sim with a LTW of being a Rock God. She's had enough of the groupie life, and wants to see what life is like "on top." She's an outgoing Aries who fears commitment like the plague.

I loved this pose. Also, Pamela and Britney would be proud of her fashion sense.

The cheese stands alone... After this sad little meal, we decide Teala must go out and capture a man who can cook.

Ooh, tasty. As the Director of Sim Breeding in this legacy, I approve. Go get 'em, Teala!

Unfortunately he has other ideas, and hooks her up on a blind date with this guy.
Me: OMGFUGLY. Step away, Teala.

...Damn three-bolters. Damn romance sims, generally.

Later that night...

But then...

Teala is awakened by a phone call. It's Derek (the cute one) and he wants to go on an outing.

Teala decides to talk about her dangerous curves.

Then she gets a little poetic with the metaphors.

Teala finds it hilarious that he's a general.

Oooh, fired. Must be all those late nights at the club... I decide to let her invite Derek to stay the night to cheer her up.

Yeah, I think she feels better.

Still, she seems to kinda be on the fence about which of the best friends she wants.

More nights on the town, with Derek's posse. They seem like the fun-loving type.

Teala: "Hey baby, call me!"
Derek: "Ugh..."

Aaron McFugly: "Whatcha got there?"
Teala: "Oh, um, nothing." /yeehaw, my first amateur porn pics!/

Crumplebottom = in yr bzness, unleashin' da purse.

Oh come on, woman. You already got his best friend. I swear, she's systematically banging all his male friends.

That's it, she needs a female influence. I choose this random walkby named Ratna. Because, like, her name is Ratna and I find that awesome. Turns out she works at the record store Teala just got re-hired at, too.

Soon...

*evil cackle* I gotta admit though, she's brilliant at not puking. She always just chokes it back down. I imagine it's a party girl secret.

Teala panics at the idea of raising a kid on her own, so she moves Derek in. She's horrified at the idea of engagement, so that's out. XD

Derek brought some really cool stuff when he moved in, including this. And connections. Derek has many connections.

Like Rose here, who randomly gave them a big screen tv. I think I like her. Well, it makes up for the hat, I mean.

Have I mentioned Teala totally lucked out with Derek? His skills are all in the 8-10 range, and he does things like this.

Also, he works as a financial consultant on his days off, while Teala practices being bootylicious.

But Teala wants to prove she's sexy even when knocked up, so she chats up some judge whose name I don't remember at a clothing store.

And then gets him to help her try on clothes. Right?

Well, all good things must come to an end...

*evil cackle the second*
Derek: *on computer* "Babe, you really need to work on that metal scream. Sounds like a cat giving birth or something..."

Soon we have baby girl Celadon,

And baby boy Forest. They both got their mom's side-glancing eyes.

Welp, that's it for now. As a parting shot, we have the SRSfaced General Derek Miller.

PS Can someone please tell me how the generation decimal count thing works? It confuzzles me.
